Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of ParaKeeper, a paraSOQL LLC product. By creating an account or using ParaKeeper, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If you use ParaKeeper for an organization or another person, you represent that you have authority to do so. You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding your password, and activity performed through your account.

2. The service

ParaKeeper helps organize bills, subscriptions, renewals, warranties, documents, household tasks, and reminders. ParaKeeper is an organizational tool and does not provide legal, medical, tax, financial, insurance, or other professional advice.

3. Deadlines and reminders

You remain responsible for verifying dates, amounts, obligations, and completion. Email delivery, internet access, third-party systems, and scheduled processing can fail or be delayed. Do not rely on ParaKeeper as the only method of meeting a critical payment, filing, medical, legal, or safety deadline.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant paraSOQL LLC a limited license to host, process, back up, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve ParaKeeper. You are responsible for having the right to upload and share your content.

5. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Use ParaKeeper for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity.
• Attempt to access another user’s account or content without authorization.
• Upload malware, interfere with service operation, or bypass security or plan limits.
• Reverse engineer or exploit the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Use automated traffic that unreasonably burdens the service.

6. Paid subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through Stripe at the price and interval shown at purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled through the billing portal. Cancellation generally takes effect according to the billing status shown by Stripe. Fees are nonrefundable except when required by law or expressly stated at purchase. We may change future pricing with reasonable notice.

7. Plan limits and changes

Features and usage limits vary by plan. If a subscription ends or payment remains unresolved after a grace period, Free-plan limits may apply. Existing data is not intentionally deleted solely because of a downgrade, but some creation, sharing, attachment, or editing features may be restricted until usage is reduced or the subscription is restored.

8. Third-party services

ParaKeeper may rely on or link to third-party services such as Stripe, email providers, hosting providers, and external websites. Their separate terms and privacy policies govern their services, and we are not responsible for their acts.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, security threats, unlawful use, nonpayment, or conduct that harms the service or others. You may stop using ParaKeeper at any time and may contact us about account deletion or data export.

10. Service availability and disclaimers

ParaKeeper is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free reminders, permanent storage, or that the service will meet every need. You should maintain independent copies of information that is important to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, paraSOQL LLC and its owners, personnel, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, opportunities, or savings. Any liability that cannot legally be excluded is limited to the amount you paid for ParaKeeper during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post the revised effective date here. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law. Questions may be sent to support@parakeeper.com.
